How Does Farmland Tenure Security Affect Rural Household Income? Empirical Evidence of China’s Survey Data

A stable farmland tenure can optimize farmers’ allocation of production factors and then determine the income level structure farmers. In recent years, reform China’s system had been making efforts to strengthen stability tenures. Will security restrict agricultural development? Based on data 2018 China Labor Dynamics Survey (CLDS), this paper empirically analyzes impact rural household its mechanism. The results showed that land rights increased per capita total income, wage productive farmers significantly. significantly households in plain areas villages with highly mechanied; additionally, employment opportunities mechanism analysis a significant positive effect by promoting division labor investment. On basis, puts forward measures such as strictly controlling readjustment land, improving market financial market, guiding nonplain develop tertiary industry according local conditions.
